Who am I? What are my roots? Was my great-great-grandfather really Bonaparte's doctor? Or was that just a family legend? Who are these American cousins with whom ties have never been broken?
I have been curious about these and many other questions since childhood, but now have found answers through my years of research into my own family history. This fascinating journey through time and space, based on both traditional and genetic genealogy, continues to present me with extraordinary discoveries where my family history mixes with our collective history.
A few years ago, my family and I left France, where I was born and where I was a French and Latin teacher for over twenty years. We first lived in Denmark for four years before moving to the United States, where we currently reside. This change of life gave me the opportunity to start a new professional career, in which I put my knowledge and experience of genealogy at the service of others.
Eager to deepen and broaden my skills, I took a course at Boston University, earning my Certificate in Genealogical Research. I am also a member of the APG (Association of Professional Genealogists), the NGS (National Genealogical Society) as well as several other genealogical circles and societies.
